Creative problem solving

“Inside of every problem lies an opportunity.”

Robert Kiyosaki

Problem solving is a challenge that each of us had to kick. Some of us have done better, others so and so, others are still avoiding the solution - because we do not have the courage to face the consequences that may arise.

Creative thinking can help us find solutions in various situations. Its development gives you the opportunity to find answers outside the box - which leads to an increase of your comfort zone. Robert W. Olson has written an exercise book on problem solving by making full use of strengthening your strategic thinking.

One of the most easy to practice techniques is: Do IT

Define the problem - here comes your ability to use your analytical and critical thinking - because it's really important to be concise and to identify very clearly and understand what the problem really is.

Open your mind - grab and put down on paper all sorts of possible solutions, if it is not private you can involve other people in search of solving. At this stage, creativity is free to fly - you can even use ideas to generate ideas. Even those that can be considered mad - declined can lead to some good ones!

Identifies the best solution - put the critical and analytical thinking back to work and take every solution and turn it on all sides. Once you've gone through all the reviews, it's time to choose the best idea.

Transform - here is the critical moment. Without action nothing happens. And if you do not choose to do something, it's all a choice and an action - which is a reaction. There are many things that could make you make no decision to implement the solution. Fear of change, procrastination, insecurity are probably the most important. To make sure things happen, it turns the hindrances into an action plan with very clear chronological steps and lines.

It does not hurt to have a small reward at the end if you manage to make things move in the direction you want!
